Mr. Thomas “Tom” Pick of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Irene Pick, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 19th, 2012 at the age of 95 years. Tom leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Audry Dickie and Jean Berry, both of Edmonton; sister-in-law, Merle Labs of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was born on March 25th, 1916 in Provost, Alberta and was a long-time resident of Medicine Hat. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene (nee Place). Tom was one of the partners that helped construct the moose statue that still stands in front of the Moose Lodge. He enjoyed walking, was very good at building things, and liked to putter around. Interment has taken place at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Tom’s memory may be made to Meals on Wheels or to the charity of one’s choice.
