Doris passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the age of 80 years, beloved wife for 35 years of Frank R.
Weimer of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory two children, her son, Wayne (Debby) Schmidt, their children, Michael (Natasha) Schmidt and Melanie (Pat) Schmunk; her great grandchildren, Chase, Ryland, Holden, Dayton, Skyler; her son, Terry (Dorothy) Schmidt, his children, Carolyn Schmidt (Doug Corah), Tammy (Stacey) Warriner, Stacey Schmidt (her fiancé Kellan Steinley), and their mother, Elaine Schmidt; Dorothys children, Darren (Charlene) Moch and Devon Moch and her daughter-in-law, Jody Moch; her great grandchildren, Payton, Raine, Shelby, Austin and Tyra as well as many nieces and nephews; brothers, Harold (Alice) Beierbach, Art Beierbach and sister-in-law Rose Beierbach as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in the Weimer family. She was predeceased by her father, Albert, her mother, Hulda; one brother Chester; a grandson, Darvin Moch; two nieces, Cheryl Beierbach and Jodi Hilgendorf; and a brother-in-law, Albert Weimer. Doris was born on February 4, 1931 on a farm at Richmound, Saskatchewan where she was raised. At the age of 13 she moved with her family to Medicine Hat. In 1975 she married Frank Weimer. She loved photography and was an avid afternoon bingo player. Doris cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family would like to thank her friend of 78 years Eileen (Roy) Hoffman, and her special friend Yvonne Baker. Also, thank you to the nurses and staff at the Riverview Care Centre.
