Mrs. Stacey Mast, beloved wife of Mr. Kelly Mast of Redcliff, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 31st, 2012 at the age of 38 years.
Stacey also leaves to cherish her memory her son, Tyson Matthew; her parents, Johannes and Maryanne Bouw of Bow Island; her brother, Curtis (Kelsey) Bouw of Bow Island and their sons, Erik and Lynden; her mother and father-in-law, Robyn and Reid Mast of Medicine Hat; her sister-in-law, Stacy Feist of Medicine Hat and her children, Kelsie Mast and Kyah Feist; her close friends, Neil and Pam Fode of Medicine Hat, Glen and Pat Aldi of Penhold, Alberta, Shannon Miller (nee Hunter) of Smithfalls, Ontario; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, co-workers and friends. Stacey was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Les Wayne Chico Feist. Stacey was born in Medicine Hat on March 31st, 1973. She was raised on the family farm near Bow Island and was an active 4H member. She attended St. Michael's School in Bow Island and then Red Deer College where she obtained her Pharmacy Technician Diploma. Stacey married Kelly Mast on August 1st, 1998 in Bow Island and they resided in Penhold, Alberta until 2004 when they returned to the Medicine Hat area making Redcliff their home. Stacey was employed at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital until the time of her passing. Stacey was a devoted mother and wife as well as a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Her sudden passing has left a great void in everyone's lives. Vigil Rites (Prayers) and a Celebration of Staceys Life will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, on Sunday, February 5th, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 1451 Strachan Road SE, on Monday, February 6th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Roque Periera, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Section at Hillside Cemetery.
