LAURA WENSMANN, beloved wife of Perry Wensmann, of Milk River, passed away peacefully at the Edith Cavell Care Centre, on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the age of 49 years. Besides her loving husband she is survived by one son Randy (Klaudia) Wensmann, of Lethbridge, and one grandson Jakub. She is also survived by parents Caroline and Robert Stern, of Lethbridge, one sister Victoria Calder, of Lethbridge, two nephews Robert (Judy) and Daniel Calder, and one special great niece Destiny. As well as Perrys family Ed Wensmann, Gayle (Robert) Eagleson, Leon (Denise) Wensmann, Glenn (Cheryl) Wensmann and numerous nieces and nephews. Laura was born January 20, 1963 in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She completed her education in Foremost. Laura met Perry and they were married in 1982 and they resided on the family farm since. They were blessed with a son, Randy. Family was important to her and she loved her daughter-in-law, grandson and great-niece very much. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. A Prayer Service will be held at ST. PETERS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 Main Street, Milk River, on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PETERS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 Main Street, Milk River, on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Dominic Nguyen celebrant. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
