MR. KAZIMIERZ
"KAZ" OSKO of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda
Osko, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness with his
family by his side, on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at the age of 64
years.
Kaz was born in Germany to Marian & Lucyna Osko. He
had a long career in the construction industry, including over 30
years with the City of Lethbridge, waterworks department. He
enjoyed gardening, relaxing in the sun and spending time with his
granddaughter, Grayson. He also very much enjoyed his "power
naps". Kaz had a fierce loyalty to his family. Besides
his loving wife Linda, Kaz is survived by his daughters Sherry
(Lloyd) Dieser and Brandy Osko; parents Marian & Lucyna Osko;
granddaughter Grayson Dieser; sister Julia (Don) Palech and their
daughters Alexandra and Christina; brother Terry (Glennys) Osko
and their daughters Erica and Sarah; as well as numerous cousins
and their families. He was predeceased by his grandson Shai
Dieser. Vigil Rites (Prayers) will be held at 7:00pm on Monday,
February 20, 2012 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4
Street South, Lethbridge. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at
10:30am on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at ST. BASILS CATHOLIC
CHURCH, 604 - 13 Street North Lethbridge, with Father John Kohler
officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made
to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, Jack Ady Cancer
Centre, 960 19 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5.
