Helen Howard passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday July 20th in High River Hospital after a brief illness.
She enjoyed a long life of nearly 85 years with love for home and nature always close to heart. A devoted wife and loving mother, Helen was pre-deceased by her husband Tom in 1994. She is survived by sisters Mary and Betty, sons Douglas and Alan and their spouses Barbara and Brenda with grandchildren, Vicki and husband Steve, James and wife Diana, Sonya and Adrian, and three great grand-children, Adam, Ty and Trent. In keeping with her wishes, a private family service was held at Mountainview Cemetery in Lethbridge on Thursday July 22, 2010 where Helen joined her beloved husband Tom in final rest.
